“A driver unleashed chaos in New Orleans’ iconic French Quarter early on New Year’s Day, as he plowed a pickup truck into a crowd before being shot dead by police,” authorities reported.
Over 30 individuals were injured as Wednesday’s attack turned the festive Bourbon Street in the USA into a scene of horror.
The FBI is treating the attack as an act of terrorism and believes the driver may not have acted alone. “An Islamic State group flag was discovered on the vehicle’s trailer hitch,” they confirmed. (PTI)
