NEW DELHI, Jan 30: On Thursday, Prime Minister Narendra Modi paid homage to Mahatma Gandhi on the occasion of his death anniversary. He took to X to express, “Homage to Pujya Bapu on his Punya Tithi. His principles inspire us in our quest for a developed India. I also honor all those who sacrificed for our nation, remembering their service and bravery.” Gandhi, a pivotal figure in India’s struggle for independence, was assassinated by Nathuram Godse on this day in 1948.
