DEHRADUN, Jan 28: On Tuesday, Prime Minister Narendra Modi expressed that the recently implemented Uniform Civil Code (UCC) in Uttarakhand embodies the same spirit of teamwork that is found in sports.
During his speech at the opening ceremony of the National Games at the Rajiv Gandhi international cricket stadium, he commended the Uttarakhand government for the UCC’s implementation, calling it a “historic achievement”.
“The UCC reflects the collaborative spirit of sports and treats everyone equally,” Modi remarked.
