NEW DELHI, Feb 13: On Thursday, Prime Minister Narendra Modi extended his greetings to the public on the occasion of World Radio Day, referring to the medium as a “timeless lifeline.”
In a message shared on X, he remarked, “Happy World Radio Day! Radio serves as a timeless lifeline for many by informing, inspiring, and connecting people. It is a dynamic medium that highlights creativity, encompassing news, culture, music, and storytelling.”
He also praised everyone involved in the radio sector and encouraged the public to contribute their thoughts and suggestions for this month’s ‘Mann Ki Baat,’ which is set for February 23. (Agencies)
