JAMMU, Dec 12: Under the guidance of Managing Director and CEO Atul Kumar Goel, Punjab National Bank (PNB) conducted an MSME Customer Meet in Jammu. The event aimed to provide customers with essential banking information and enhance engagement. Goel reiterated PNB’s commitment to customer satisfaction through innovative financial services. He highlighted the bank’s focus on delivering tailored financial solutions for MSME clients and noted the proactive measures taken to streamline banking processes.
During the meeting, Goel detailed the Bank’s special MSME Prime Plus scheme, which allows traders to secure loans up to Rs 100 crore based on their business needs. Additionally, he announced the launch of the PNB One Biz app to promote digital banking.
Goel further reported that in the first two quarters of the financial year 2024-25, PNB contributed Rs 1.51 lakh crore to the MSME sector, with plans to enhance this support going forward. The event attracted the participation of approximately 60 entrepreneurs.
Following the meet, Goel, along with Amratabh Anand and Circle Head Jammu Anil Kumar Sharma, visited Bal Niketan Orphanage in Amphala, Jammu. As part of the bank’s corporate social responsibility efforts, they distributed computers, shoes, and warm clothing to about 40 children.
In the evening, a meeting was held at the Circle Office in Jammu with around 130 staff members, chaired by Atul Kumar Goel alongside Amratabh Anand, Anil Kumar Sharma, and other branch and vertical heads. The session concluded with a vote of thanks delivered by Deputy Circle Head Dharmesh Dwivedi.
