JAMMU, January 31: Recently, a resident of Pakistan-occupied Jammu and Kashmir who accidentally crossed the border was transferred to the Pakistan Army along the Line of Control in Poonch district of Jammu and Kashmir on Friday, according to officials.
The individual, identified as 32-year-old Mohammad Yasir Faiz, hails from the village of Tetrinote in PoK. He was taken into custody in the Salotri border village of Poonch on January 25.
Officials noted that the Indian Army coordinated with their Pakistani counterparts, and Faiz was formally handed over at the Chakan Da Bagh border crossing following the completion of all necessary procedures on Friday.
