JAMMU, Dec 5: In an ongoing effort to combat anti-national activities, police conducted searches at the residences of four individuals suspected of being Over-Ground Workers for terrorists in the border district of Poonch today.

As per a police spokesperson, raids were executed at the homes of Mohd Nasar in Sakhimadan, Mehmood Hussian in Dehri Dabsi, Mohd Khalid in Dharana, and Abdul Aziz in Bhatidhar within the Mendhar sub-division.
“These individuals are believed to have been facilitating logistical support, shelter, and various other forms of assistance to terrorists operating in the area,” he stated.
The operations were carefully orchestrated to collect evidence and disrupt activities that threaten the peace and stability of the region, according to the police spokesperson.
Senior officials involved in the operation have reaffirmed their determination to eliminate all factions engaged in anti-national pursuits and to ensure the safety of civilians,
he added. The Jammu and Kashmir Police have encouraged the public to collaborate with law enforcement and to report any information that could enhance efforts against terrorism.
