MENDHAR/POONCH, Dec 5: Authorities conducted searches at the homes of four suspected over-ground workers associated with terrorists in the border district of Poonch, Jammu and Kashmir, on Thursday as part of efforts to combat anti-national activities, an official stated.

As per a police spokesperson, the searches targeted the residences of Mohd Nasar from Sakhimadan, Mehmood Hussian from Dehri Dabsi, Mohd Khalid from Dharana, and Abdul Aziz from Bhatidhar within the Mendhar sub-division.
“Those whose homes were searched are suspected of providing logistical support, shelter, and various assistance to terrorists operating in the vicinity,” he stated.
The search operations were carefully strategized to collect evidence and disrupt activities threatening the peace and stability of the area, the spokesperson added.
Senior officials managing the operation underscored their dedication to eliminating all factions involved in anti-national actions and ensuring civilian safety, he mentioned.
The Jammu and Kashmir Police have urged the public to collaborate with law enforcement and provide any information that could aid in the battle against terrorism. (Agencies)
