SRINAGAR, Dec 7: The Jammu and Kashmir police have seized five residential properties and three vehicles valued at over Rs 4 crore belonging to drug traffickers in the Anantnag district of south Kashmir.
According to a police statement, the action was executed under the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances (NDPS) Act.
The properties were associated with Reyaz Ahmad Dar (son of Mohammad Ramzan Dar), Mohammad Yousuf Reshi (son of Ali Mohammad Reshi), Subzar Ahmad Mir (son of Sonaullah Mir), Mohammad Shafi Dar (son of Mohammad Maqbool Dar), and Abdul Hamid Chopan—all from Anantnag.
The vehicles involved include a Santro belonging to Mohammad Shafi Dar, a WagonR owned by Manzoor Ahmad Mantoo, and a Toyota Corolla.
