NEW DELHI, Jan 12: On Sunday, President Droupadi Murmu honored the spiritual leader and social reformer Swami Vivekananda on the occasion of his birth anniversary. She stated that he inspired the youth to engage in nation-building and dedicate their efforts to serving humanity.
His enduring legacy continues to motivate countless individuals globally, Murmu remarked in a post on X.
Swami Vivekananda was born on January 12, 1863.
“I offer my respectful tributes to Swami Vivekananda on his birth anniversary. Swamiji conveyed India’s profound spiritual message to the Western world, instilling a renewed sense of self-confidence among the Indian populace,” the President mentioned.
He encouraged young people to realize their potential, contribute to nation-building, and serve humanity, she added.
