NEW DELHI, Dec 23: PVR INOX Ltd, a leading cinema exhibitor, announced a restructuring plan for its Rs 600 crore media business on Monday. The company has appointed Chief Sales Officer Shalu Sabharwal to lead initiatives aimed at strengthening market connections and driving national growth.
Sabharwal will oversee strategic changes intended to enhance the media business, utilizing a team of industry professionals dedicated to business development across India, according to a statement from PVR INOX.
“Shalu’s vast experience and strategic acumen position her well to lead this transformation. By integrating industry experts and emphasizing data-driven strategies and sponsorship opportunities, we aim to establish PVR INOX as a key player in the media sector,” stated Gautam Dutta, CEO-Revenue & Operations of PVR INOX.
With the new structure, regional heads Gaurav Shukla, Sharda Ganti, Rajesh Makhija, and Shalini Marianathan will lead initiatives in their respective regions, as detailed by the company.
They will collaborate with newly appointed leaders, including Saurabh Bhambri and Traptika Chauhan, who bring valuable insights from their experiences at Paytm, the company added.
“This restructuring represents a pivotal move in our strategy to strengthen our position in the competitive media landscape and improve our ability to connect brands with PVR INOX’s extensive audience,” the company expressed.
PVR INOX plans to utilize advanced data analytics for more informed decision-making and increased operational efficiency, with a particular focus on deeper data planning.
Additionally, the company aims to outsource key markets to skilled professionals, thereby expanding its reach and impact. There will be a stronger emphasis on both online and offline media platforms to maximize visibility for its brand and clients.
