MUMBAI, Jan 7: Security measures at Bollywood actor Salman Khan’s residence in Bandra have been significantly upgraded with bulletproof glass now protecting his balcony, alongside a state-of-the-art CCTV monitoring system observing the street outside, a police official stated on Tuesday.
The bulletproof panels will enhance the actor’s safety when he steps onto the balcony of his Galaxy Apartments flat to greet fans, added the official.
This security enhancement, being implemented by a private contractor employed by Khan, follows an incident where two individuals on a motorcycle, allegedly connected to the Lawrence Bishnoi gang, opened fire near the building in April 2024.
