JAMMU, Dec 7: The president of the J&K Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), Sat Sharma, reaffirmed the party’s commitment to promoting its policies, vision, and ideology at the grassroots level.
“Our goal is to make the BJP’s principles known to every citizen. This endeavor goes beyond mere numbers; it’s about fortifying the nation through collective growth, unity, and prosperity,” stated Sat Sharma while presenting an award to party leader Zorawar Singh Jamwal at a special ceremony held at the party headquarters, acknowledging his role in enrolling over 2200 individuals, particularly youths, as primary party members in under a week.
In addressing party leaders and workers, Sharma termed this contribution an exceptional achievement in the membership drive and expressed his gratitude to Zorawar Singh Jamwal for setting a remarkable example of dedication and hard work. His tireless efforts, which included personally visiting households and motivating individuals to join the BJP, were crucial in reaching this milestone,” he elaborated.
He emphasized that such initiatives are not only aimed at increasing membership but also at disseminating the party’s values and vision within communities. He assured party leaders and supporters that this accomplishment is only the beginning.
“The numbers will continue to rise in the coming days. We are dedicated to integrating more people into the party to ensure that our values and policies reach every corner of J&K,” said Sharma.
Sharma also highlighted that Zorawar Singh Jamwal’s efforts embody the spirit of grassroots activism for the BJP. “Zorawar Singh’s personal initiative in reaching out door-to-door and engaging directly with the public has been vital in raising awareness about the party’s objectives and fostering broader participation in the political landscape,” he noted. Sharma pointed out that Jamwal’s strategy of motivating individuals through direct interaction has cultivated a sense of trust and enthusiasm among the populace. To support this initiative, the party has undertaken tangible steps to make its policies and goals more accessible to ordinary citizens.
In his speech, BJP leader Zorawar Singh Jamwal affirmed that the membership drive will continue, focusing on engaging more individuals from diverse sectors of society.
