JAMMU, Dec 10: The President of the Jammu and Kashmir BJP, Sat Sharma (CA), stated today that since 2014, the Modi Government has implemented a myriad of schemes aimed at the socio-economic enhancement of all segments of society.
While speaking at an organizational meeting at the party Headquarters, he noted that these initiatives cater to various groups, including rural farmers, urban entrepreneurs, women, youth, and marginalized communities. He emphasized that not only welfare schemes but also development projects have been initiated across every region, ensuring no discrimination.
Sharma urged party activists to not only continue their social and organizational endeavors within their communities but also to educate citizens about the numerous welfare measures rolled out by the Narendra Modi Government that benefit all sections of society.
He highlighted schemes such as PM-KISAN, which provides direct financial support to farmers, and the Pradhan Mantri Fasal Bima Yojana (PMFBY), which offers crop insurance. The Pradhan Mantri Gram Sadak Yojana improves rural connectivity, fostering better livelihood and market access. The Jan Dhan Yojana promotes financial inclusion by offering banking services to millions, while the Ayushman Bharat scheme delivers health coverage to economically disadvantaged groups. Meanwhile, PM Ujjwala Yojana supplies LPG connections to households, significantly improving their quality of life.
Additionally, Sharma highlighted women-focused initiatives like Beti Bachao Beti Padhao, which supports education and gender equality. Programs such as Skill India and Digital India are designed to equip youth with the necessary skills and technology for a competitive advantage.
General Secretary (Organization) Ashok Koul requested updates regarding the ongoing membership drive from various Morchas and cells, emphasizing that the Modi Government’s schemes are designed to create a self-reliant India (Atmanirbhar Bharat) by addressing socio-economic disparities and empowering citizens across all sectors. He asserted that these initiatives reflect a dedication to building a thriving, fair, and progressive nation.
Dr. Devinder Kumar Manyal, General Secretary and MLA, led the meeting proceedings. Other notable attendees included General Secretary and former MLC Vibodh Gupta, Headquarters in-charge Priya Sethi, All Cells in-charge Rakesh Mahajan, and senior leader Munish Sharma.
