JAMMU, Dec 31: Sat Sharma, the President of J&K BJP, today urged party MLAs to acknowledge the NC Government’s complete failure, which has resulted in chaos within the Union Territory of Jammu & Kashmir. Sharma made these remarks during a meeting with party members in Jammu, where Ashok Koul, the General Secretary (organization), and Sunil Sharma, the Leader of Opposition, also spoke.
During the meeting, Sharma criticized the NC Government for deceiving the voters of Jammu & Kashmir, particularly in the Kashmir region, where they received significant support in the recent Assembly elections based on false promises.
“The residents of J&K feel betrayed by the empty assurances of NC. Instead of enhancing the performance of public offices, they are focused on media appearances. Policies like the Suspension policy are further complicating the lives of ordinary people,” he stated.
“The citizens of J&K have strongly endorsed the BJP with the highest vote share in the latest Assembly elections. We currently represent the voices of our 28 MLAs in the J&K Assembly. The BJP stands for a commitment to addressing every issue of the people of J&K, both inside the Assembly and on the streets,” he emphasized.
In his address, Ashok Koul elaborated on the current political and developmental scenarios, urging MLAs to maintain vigilance against the disruptive agenda of the NC Government, which seeks to undermine J&K’s development.
MLA Sunil Sharma expressed concerns that the Jammu region is once again feeling overlooked under NC’s rule. He called on the NC Government to fulfill their electoral promises and respond to the aspirations of people from both regions.
