BJP prepares for internal elections

JAMMU, Jan 4: Sat Sharma CA, president of the J&K BJP, along with Ashok Koul, general secretary (Organization), Jugal Kishore Sharma, MP (Lok Sabha), and Rakesh Mahajan, Returning Officer, discussed the organization of elections for the Mandal presidents with senior party leaders during a series of meetings at the party Headquarters in Trikuta Nagar, today.
The senior leaders, designated as observers and Returning Officers for the organizational elections, took part in the discussions. The meeting focused on mobilizing efforts for the elections and ensuring the timely completion of the Sangathan Parv process.
Attendees included Ravinder Raina, Dr. Devinder Kumar Manyal, Yudhvir Sethi, Vikram Randhawa, Arvind Gupta, Chander Mohan Gupta, Anuradha Singh Charak, Veenu Khanna, Pawan Sharma, Baldev Singh Billawaria, Munish Sharma, Inderjeet, Purnima Sharma, Abhinav Sharma, Rajni Sethi, Dr. Abhijeet Singh Jasrotia, Dr. Tahir Choudhary, Jugal Dogra, Narain Singh, Vipan Sharma, and more.
During his address, Sat Sharma urged the party leaders and observers to engage in discussions with all senior local leaders to gather their valuable insights before making any decisions. He emphasized the importance of conducting fair and impartial elections to promote healthy internal democracy within the organization.
“BJP adheres to democratic principles both publicly and internally. Even the highest-ranking member must step down for a more qualified party worker during organizational elections. This exemplifies the essence of democracy within our party,” remarked Sat Sharma.
Ashok Koul encouraged party leaders to report on the status of the ongoing elections. He provided the election dates for the Mandal and district presidents and outlined the associated procedures. He tasked all designated observers and Returning Officers to carry out the process with professionalism and adherence to organizational principles.
Jugal Kishore Sharma urged the observers and Returning Officers to complete all relevant processes efficiently to facilitate the timely execution of the organizational elections as part of the ongoing “Sangathan Parv”.
Rakesh Mahajan called on all observers and Returning Officers to diligently carry out their responsibilities at the grassroots level.
