JAMMU, Dec 22: Satish Sharma, the Minister for Food, Civil Supplies & Consumer Affairs, Transport, Youth Services & Sports, Science & Technology, and Information Technology, undertook a comprehensive visit to the Chhamb constituency and nearby regions today.
During his tour, the Minister explored numerous locations such as Khour Camp, Datyal, Rakh Malal, Ghrattal, Kathar, Kheour, and others, where he interacted with different delegations, evaluated various projects, and inaugurated development activities related to road construction.
Minister Sharma held public darbars at Ghrattal, Kathar, and Kheour, where many local residents participated and voiced their concerns regarding issues in their areas. The issues raised included the construction of link roads, improving the process for issuing ration cards, inconsistent power and water supply, the need for playgrounds, and other welfare-related matters.
The Minister pledged that all the concerns and issues presented would be communicated to the relevant authorities for prompt resolution.
While addressing the attendees, the Minister affirmed his commitment to work diligently to foster greater development and prosperity in the region. He urged the public to cooperate in achieving the set development goals.
Additionally, the Minister inaugurated the link road development project at Dhara in Panchayat Kathar along with the boundary wall and HRC on the link road Chareed.
During the inauguration, he instructed the officials to ensure that these essential projects are completed on time and warned against any unnecessary delays.
Satish Sharma called on the officials from various departments to deliver their services efficiently and to coordinate effectively to prevent inconveniences for the residents.
He emphasized that the Government is devoted to fulfilling the developmental needs of the people while ensuring that everyone’s basic needs are met equitably.
