JAMMU, Jan 30: On Thursday, security forces initiated a cordon and search operation in the Doda district of Jammu and Kashmir after receiving reports of potential terrorist movement, according to police officials.
The operation commenced at 8:30 am, executed collaboratively by the police and the CRPF in the areas of Dorhu, Basti, and the nearby forest in Bhaderwah.
As of the latest updates, the operation was still ongoing. Local residents had observed suspicious activity in the vicinity and promptly notified the police, the officials reported.
