Srinagar, Feb 10: On Monday, security forces uncovered a cache of arms and ammunition near the Line of Control (LoC) in the Kupwara district of Jammu and Kashmir.
The Army reported that during a search operation in Badi Mohalla in Amrui, two AK series rifles, along with ammunition and other military supplies were found.
This operation was initiated by the Army in collaboration with Jammu and Kashmir police, following specific information.
“On 10 Feb 2025, based on specific intelligence inputs, a Joint Search Operation was conducted by #IndianArmy and @JmuKmrPolice at Badi Mohalla, Amrui, Kupwara. During this search, 02 AK series rifles, ammunition, and other military supplies were recovered,” stated the Army’s Chinar Corps in a post on X.
The Army confirmed that the operation is ongoing.
