LOS ANGELES, Dec 12: Selena Gomez, the renowned Hollywood actress, has officially announced her engagement to music producer Benny Blanco.
The star of “Only Murders in the Building” took to social media to share the exciting news, posting pictures of herself adorned with a dazzling engagement ring.
“Forever begins now,” she wrote alongside the photos.
Benny Blanco, famed for producing chart-topping songs for artists like Justin Bieber, Halsey, Katy Perry, and Ed Sheeran, playfully commented, “Hey wait… that’s my wife.”
At 32 years old, Gomez confirmed her relationship with Blanco in December 2023, though they had been romantically linked since June of that year.
The couple has previously collaborated on several tracks, including Gomez’s 2015 hit “Same Old Love,” the 2019 song “I Can’t Get Enough,” and her 2023 single “Single Soon.”
2024 has been an extraordinary year for Gomez. She won the Best Actress award at the Cannes Film Festival alongside her “Emilia Perez” co-stars Karla Sofía Gascón, Adriana Paz, and Zoe Saldana.
Additionally, she received an Emmy nomination for Outstanding Lead Actress in a Comedy Series for her role in Hulu’s “Only Murders in the Building.”
This week, Gomez earned two Golden Globe nominations—one for her performance in “Emilia Perez” and another for “Only Murders in the Building.” (PTI)
