MUMBAI, Feb 6: Bollywood icons Shah Rukh Khan and Salman Khan made a notable appearance at the special screening of “Loveyapa,” the debut film of their close friend and fellow actor Aamir Khan’s son, Junaid Khan.
This romantic-comedy, which also features Khushi Kapoor, marks Junaid’s first theatrical release, following his performance in the Netflix film “Maharaj.”
Aamir organized the exclusive screening on Wednesday evening at the Excel Entertainment office, showcasing the film directed by Advait Chandan, known for “Laal Singh Chaddha” and “Secret Superstar,” for his close friends in the industry.
Upon his arrival, Shah Rukh Khan, dressed in a blue shirt and denim jeans, greeted Aamir with a warm hug and a kiss on the cheek, commending him for his recent weight loss, as seen in videos shared on social media.
Shah Rukh also took a moment to congratulate Junaid on his film before capturing photos with both him and Aamir.
Salman Khan, in a casual outfit of ripped jeans and a green polo T-shirt, entered the venue with his security team and proceeded straight into the screening.
After the film, Salman and Aamir posed for photographs together, later joined by Junaid and Aamir’s daughter, Ira.
The screening was further graced by actor Ayushmann Khurrana and his wife Tahira, Aamir’s nephew Imran Khan, and rapper Honey Singh.
The film features an ensemble cast that includes Ashutosh Rana, Kiku Sharda, Grusha Kapoor, and Tanvika Parlikar in significant roles.
Produced by Phantom Studios and AGS Entertainment, “Loveyapa” is set to hit theaters this Friday. (PTI)
