JAMMU, Jan 10: During the ongoing 18th Christmas Gold Cup Football Tournament 2024-25 at the Mini Stadium Parade Ground in Jammu, Shaheen FC claimed victory over Param FC with a score of 4-1 following a dramatic penalty shootout after the match ended in a goalless draw during regulation time.
Noteworthy performances came from Shaheen FC players, with Karun, Ayushman, Hizim, and Azad each contributing a goal in the shootout. Param FC managed to score one goal, courtesy of Abhinav.
The event saw the presence of notable attendees, including Ashok Kumar (Former Corporator Ward No. 4), David Masih (Football Coach), Yousaf Don (Organizing Secretary), Bhupinder Singh, Kamaljeet Kumar, and Rajesh Sumbria.
The officiating team for the match comprised Ajay Singh, Ricky, Aman Sudan, and Dheeraj Meenia. Interestingly, Param FC featured two international players in their lineup for this match.
