New Delhi, Jan 16: On Thursday, Science and Technology Minister Jitendra Singh commended ISRO’s scientists and engineers for their successful space docking experiment, emphasizing that this achievement will open doors for future missions, including the Bharatiya Antriksh Station.
Singh, who also serves as the Minister of State in the Prime Minister’s Office, expressed his congratulations on X to the team at the Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO).
“Congratulations ISRO. You’ve done it! SpaDeX has achieved the remarkable task of completing the docking with the indigenous ‘Bharatiya Docking System’,” Singh stated.
He added, “This accomplishment lays the foundation for the seamless execution of ambitious upcoming missions, including the Bharatiya Antriksha Station, Chandrayaan 4, and Gaganyaan.” Singh credited Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s unwavering support for enhancing the morale of the ISRO team based in Bengaluru.
ISRO successfully achieved the docking of satellites as part of the Space Docking Experiment (SpaDeX), a vital step towards various future missions, including the establishment of the Bharatiya Antariksh Station. (Agencies)
