NEW DELHI, Feb 12: Sterlite Power announced on Wednesday that it has secured new contracts totaling Rs 2,250 crore within its Global Products and Services (GPS) division.
These contracts aim to enhance India’s green energy transmission infrastructure and to grow the company’s international presence, as stated in the company’s announcement.
“Sterlite Power has achieved significant new orders worth Rs 2,250 crore and attained L1 positions in contracts worth Rs 650 crore in Q3 FY25, marking its best order book performance this financial year,” the company noted.
The GPS division of Sterlite includes high-performance conductors, Optical Ground Wire (OPGW), power cables, and specialized Engineering, Procurement, and Construction (EPC) services.
Reshu Madan, CEO of Global Products and Services, commented, “We are experiencing strong interest from both domestic and international markets, indicating a bright outlook for global transmission. The repeat orders for 144-fibre count OPGW cable, along with significant EPC contracts, further establish us as a reliable partner in the power transmission industry.”
