Dear Sir,
The emergence of a new regime is swiftly steering Bangladesh away from the vision laid out by its founding fathers. This shift brings not only political and economic consequences but also poses a significant threat to the country’s social fabric. What is currently unfolding in Bangladesh has sparked concern among proponents of true secularism, particularly regarding the safety of the Hindu minority. Despite efforts to downplay the situation, this community is indeed facing peril. Many have lost their livelihoods and are contemplating alternatives, including seeking refuge in other countries. Unfortunately, the violence directed at the Hindu minority has not garnered sufficient attention. The global narrative often neglects such issues, especially in a low-income country like Bangladesh. Nevertheless, these individuals are enduring hardships and, like all humans, deserve a resolution to their suffering.

Dear Sir,
The rising incidents of violence in our neighboring country, Bangladesh, are deeply concerning. Over time, the negative consequences of this unrest have become evident in society. The escalation of violence driven by religious extremism raises serious doubts about our shared humanity.
In the aftermath of the political coup, minorities are becoming targets under the new government, facing acts of brutality that are unjustifiable anywhere.
