SRINAGAR, Feb 5: The J&K Bank has extended crucial support to the families of deceased borrowers in its Srinagar Zone by promptly settling insurance claims under its MetLoan & Life Suraksha (MLLS) program.
According to a statement, a total of Rs 1.53 crore was distributed to 48 families, assisting them in alleviating their financial difficulties during these challenging times.
The ceremonial cheque for the distributed amount was presented by J&K Bank’s Zonal Head (Srinagar) Raja Zaffer Khan, in the presence of Irfan Ali Zargar, Associate Director and Head of PNB MetLife.
This event took place at the bank’s Srinagar Zonal Office and was attended by various high-ranking officials from both the bank and PNB MetLife, including Cluster Heads, Credit Heads, and other notable representatives.
Grateful claimants expressed their thanks, appreciating both J&K Bank and its insurance partner for the swift resolution of their claims.
“We are grateful for the insurance coverage, which has alleviated our financial hardships,” stated one claimant.
Raja Zaffer Khan, the Bank’s Zonal Head, highlighted the significance of loan insurance in securing the future of borrowers’ families.
“Our collaboration with PNB MetLife enables us to safeguard our customers and alleviate the financial burden on families during tough times,” he remarked.
Irfan Ali Zargar from PNB MetLife encouraged other customers to consider loan insurance, emphasizing how it can provide essential financial assistance to families in the event of unforeseen circumstances.
