SAMBA/JAMMU, Feb 27: A lightning strike damaged the dome of a Shiv temple in Samba district of Jammu and Kashmir on Thursday, as reported by officials.
One individual experienced minor injuries due to a stone that fell during the incident, according to officials.
A gathering of devotees was present for the “langar” service in celebration of Mahashivratri when the lightning hit the temple located at Goramorh in the Vijaypur region, officials stated.
The incident also resulted in the uprooting of a “Kalash” situated on top of the temple, as noted by the officials. (Agencies)
