Jammu, Feb 4: Tensions escalated this evening in the Mandal area of Jammu when three to four unidentified gunmen fired upon local residents, instilling widespread fear. This incident occurred around 6:30 PM when the assailants, traveling in an Alto car, began by vandalizing the windows of two parked vehicles near a Panchayat Ghar using sharp objects. Following the initial damage, the gunmen shot at three individuals—Arun Choudhary, son of Janak Raj, Sachin Choudhary, son of Ashok Kumar, and Monmohan, son of Subash—who were sitting near the Panchayat Ghar. This attack has intensified the already tense situation in the locality. The local police are currently investigating to identify the attackers and uncover their motives.
