JAMMU, Dec 8: The Appointments Committee of the Cabinet has decided to extend the tenure of Rakesh Kumar Singh, Additional Secretary in the Ministry of Home Affairs, Government of India, for an additional year beyond December 8, 2024. Singh, who is a member of the 1993 batch of the Indian Defence Accounts Service (IDAS), continues to serve in this important role.
