Jammu, Feb 22: Authorities reported the discovery of a terrorist hideout in a remote location of Reasi district, Jammu and Kashmir, on Saturday, which resulted in the confiscation of various arms and ammunition.
This operation was conducted by a special team from the Jammu and Kashmir Police in the Simbli-Shajroo forest area near Chakrass in the Mahore region, according to officials.
The search of the hideout revealed a significant cache: four under-barrel grenade launchers (UBGLs), one full magazine and three empty magazines for an AK assault rifle, 268 rounds of diverse ammunition, and four packets of detonators. No arrests have been made in connection with this operation thus far, the officials added.
