PESHAWAR, Feb 10:
In a tragic incident in the northwestern province of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, unknown assailants kidnapped and subsequently murdered two individuals, one of whom was a police constable, as reported by a police official on Monday.
District Police Officer Ziauddin stated that the constable and the other victim were taken from the Gurbaz Baka Khel area of Bannu district on Sunday.
According to the official, both individuals were abducted from the Baka Khel Mandi area. The officer also indicated that personal motives were likely behind this brutal act.
Disturbingly, the kidnappers recorded the gruesome shooting and posted it online.
In response, police have initiated an investigation and are exploring multiple angles surrounding the incident. (PTI)
