Jammu, Jan 8: Two young men sustained injuries during an attack by two assailants armed with pistols due to an ongoing feud, according to a police spokesperson on Wednesday.
Jasraj Singh (22), a resident of Trikuta Nagar, and Chand Wazir (20) from Babliana were reportedly assaulted by Jaspreet Singh and Amandeep Singh in the Gadigarh area of Satwari late Tuesday night, the official stated.
The assailants also fired shots at the victims using a locally-made pistol, leaving Jasraj with bullet wounds and Wazir with stab injuries.
Both victims have been hospitalized, and the police have launched an investigation into the case. Efforts are underway to locate the suspects, who escaped before police arrived at the scene.
Notably, Jaspreet was previously involved in an attack on the victims and had recently been granted bail.
