NEW DELHI, Jan 7: On Tuesday, Union Minister of Information and Broadcasting Ashwini Vaishnaw launched the government calendar for 2025, emphasizing the theme ‘Janbhagidari se Jankalyan’.
The phrase ‘Janbhagidari se Jankalyan’ translates to public welfare achieved through public involvement in Hindi.
Vaishnaw noted that the calendar showcases the tangible effects of transformative governance in various sectors over the last decade.
Present at the event were Union Minister of State for Information and Broadcasting L Murugan, Information and Broadcasting Secretary Sanjay Jaju, Principal Director General of the Press Information Bureau (PIB) Dhirendra Ojha, and Director General of the Central Bureau of Communication Yogesh Baweja, all of whom participated in the calendar’s unveiling.
This calendar emphasizes advancements in sectors such as agriculture, women’s empowerment, and youth capacity building, reflecting the nation’s progress.
According to an official statement, the government of India calendar has consistently highlighted flagship programs, initiatives, and achievements, serving as a source of inspiration regarding the collective growth experienced by the nation.
Published in 13 Indian languages, the calendar embodies the government’s commitment to connecting with citizens from diverse linguistic and cultural backgrounds. (PTI)
