RAJOURI, Feb 25: The Volleyball Tournament organized by the Range Police Headquarters Rajouri came to a close today at the District Police Lines Rajouri. Held as part of the Civic Action Programme 2024-25, the tournament commenced on February 18 and featured vibrant participation from teams across Districts Rajouri and Poonch, focusing on fostering sportsmanship and enhancing community-police relations.
The concluding match showcased an electrifying battle between Choudhary Club Rajouri and Shaheed Manjeet Singh Club Poonch, with the latter claiming victory in a nail-biting finale.
The significant occasion was attended by Tejinder Singh, Deputy Inspector General (DIG) Rajouri-Poonch Range, Abhishek Sharma, Deputy Commissioner Rajouri, and Gaurav Sikarwar, Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) Rajouri. The tournament wrapped up with the awarding of trophies, medals, and cash prizes to both the champions and runners-up.
